Orientation Programme

The Orientation Programme for the teaching and non-teaching staff of our school paved way to sharpen our teaching skills on a new academic year 2017 – 2018. Fr. Christy John was the resource person. The interactive sessions helped to enhance the competence and teaching caliber of the faculty.

Investiture Ceremony and Captains Orientation

  • Captains Orientation ‘Many are called but only a few are chosen’. The Captains of our school attended a one-day Orientation Programme on 10th June. Rev. Fr. Paulraj was the resource person of the day. Fr. Enlightened the students on the need to nurture and cultivate excellent leadership qualities to lead the school towards unity and success. The Captains of St. Aloysius A.I. Hr. Sec. School, Vepery also participated in the programme.
  • Investiture Ceremony The Academic Year 2017-’18 commenced on the 7th of June ‘17. It unveiled the ‘Investiture Ceremony’ of the newly elected captains with Rev. Fr. Deva Joe (Parish Priest of Lourdes Shrine) as the Chief Guest on 17.07.17

Annual Sports Meet

Sports Day held on 7th of July helped the students to tap their talents in the field of sports. They were greatly enthused to participate on their Sports Day. The spectacular March Past, glittering Open Ceremony, excellent team games, flamboyant drill and the sizzling Silambatam sparked up the crowd with great enthusiasm and joy. The Chief Guests Mrs. Joanna Philip, Lieutenant of the Indian Air Force was enthralled by the stunning performances of the students. She congratulated the athletes and distributed prizes.

Annual Inspection

The Annual Inspection was held on the 12th and 13th of July ’17. The Inspector of A.I. Schools, Mr. Subramaniam inspected the school and applauded the efforts of the Management, Staff and students of the school.

National Festivals

The national festivals celebrated with patriotic fervour reminded us of the selfless sacrifice of the great freedom fighters. It helped us to bind people in a thread of unity and brotherhood. We celebrated these festivals to commemorate the occurrence of great historical events of national importance and to invoke in the pupils the love for their Motherland.
  • Independence Day The Independence Day assembly was staged by the students of Std X. Rev. Fr. Deva Joe SDB, Rector and Parish Priest graced the occasion.
  • Republic Day
  • The 69th Republic Day celebration was presided over by Fr. SDB. The students of Std IX emphasised that ‘Today’s children are the future citizens ‘ through their assembly.

Teacher's Day

The students executed a variety programme for their beloved teachers on Teachers Day. They also prayed for their teachers during the Eucharistic Celebration. The Captains organised a ‘cultural Fiesta ‘ for the teachers which was very creatively executed.
